I hesitated to write about this today—concerned, I guess, that it didn’t really fall into the purview of a "usual" VM post. And then I thought about it, and got over myself. Sometimes you have to give yourself a swift kick in the pants no matter how experienced or advanced you think you are, or how well you know what you believe yourself to know.
So here goes: last month, Heather posted on Facebook about this “thing” she was doing—30 Days of Thanks. She invited her friends to play along, and I pounced on the opportunity. Not only did I pounce on the opportunity to explore being thankful in a conscious way for myself, I pounced on the idea of creating a site, and inviting everyone I knew to play along, too.
Heather, in her infinite wisdom, thought my idea was a good one, so I created it, we invited people, and it was really quite more successful than I first imagined. USA Today even wrote about us!
As November was winding up, and seeing the magic people were feeling in their lives as a result of the thanks they were giving, I knew I didn’t want all that good mojo to end. So I asked Heather to join me for 31 Days of Wishes in December. She pounced, we created a site, and we launched it today. Go see.
I’ve spent quite some time writing to friends and people I know, inviting them to join us. And the response has been overwhelmingly fabulous. Yet there has been more than a handful of people who told me that they’re just too busy to do it.
I admit to feeling rather astonished by that. I mean…how can anyone be too busy to spend 30 seconds each day making a wish? It's not as though I was suggesting spending the afternoon chopping wood! More, I think that if anyone believes that there's no time, then this is the perfect opportunity to challenge that assumption and do the wishing.
Which brings me right round to you, your business, and why I’m here.
Law of Attraction states that the more you focus on good stuff the higher your vibration will be. The more time you spend with a higher vibration that’s a match for who you really are inside and what you desire, the better the things will be that come to you. It’s law.
So it stands to reason, as you look forward toward the end of this year, and the start of the next, that if there’s a way for you to spend a moment (or however long it takes you to do it the way you choose to do it) every single day making a wish, that’s a whole lot of goodness you’re engaging in, that will help your vibration. And all that wishing (call it prayer, or intention setting if you prefer) calls into being the very stuff you wish for.
What if, by uttering one wish each day for 30 days, you could change things in your business and life? It’s all a grand experiment, really, isn’t it? And as far as experiments go, a darned easy one. No muss, no fuss… just a wish a day.
So won’t you join me and all the magical people who are committing to wishing this month? Won’t you make the time, and put out the energy for it? This season is a time to believe in things that are about love and hope, magic and miracles. Wish a miracle (or 31) for yourself this month, and see what happens.
